Dwayne Johnson Says Running for President Isn’t Happening: ‘My No. 1 Priority Is My Daughters’

Apologies, Dwayne Johnson fans! An official bid isn’t in The Blueprint for The Stone. The film genius, 50, opened up to Tracy Smith in a review during the current end of the week’s CBS Sunday Morning plunk down about an official run, which he played with in past meetings as the years progressed. As he made sense of now: It’s “off the table.”

Johnson shared that being a dad to his three children — Simone Johnson, 21, Jasmine Johnson, 6, and Tiana Johnson, 4 — is overwhelmingly significant to him, and will constantly be “No. 1.”

Back in 2021, the entertainer who was named Individuals’ No. 1 Motivation to Cherish America, clarified for Individuals that being viewed as somebody individuals needed in the White House was a “lowering honor.” This was after a survey found 46% of respondents would uphold Johnson assuming he made a run at it.

“I love our country profoundly and I’m unendingly thankful for the open doors I’ve had here, as a half-Dark, half-Samoan youngster having the option to work really hard knowing steadiness opens entryways,” he told Individuals then, at that point. “In a ton of ways, I’m obligated to our extraordinary country for it.”

Johnson noted at that point, “I’m not a lawmaker nor did I at any point have political interests.
